Biological control or “biocontrol” of introduced Phragmites offers a self-sustaining, target-specific, and cost-effective tool to supplement existing management options. Since 2019, a pilot program has been developing in Ontario, Canada using the stem-boring moths Archanaraneurica and Lenisageminipuncta. This presentation will provide an update on the pilot program and explore priorities for future research.
