Phragmites management, especially at large scales, is often best handled by professionals who have training, proper protective equipment, and knowledge of the necessary permits and licenses. To assist in the process of finding a contractor, we have begun state/province-specific lists of contractors.

The Great Lakes Phragmites Collaborative and the Great Lakes Commission make no endorsements of any contractor and do not make any statement regarding the quality of the work performed by these contractors. Contact the Great Lakes Phragmites Collaborative at phragmites@glc.org with questions or to request revisions. The contractor list is revised with any new contractors semi-annually.
